Hello.
I’m trying to open port 16410 and am somewhat struggling.
I need to do this to allow a client remote access the grade I’m doing for him within DaVinci Resolve which needs this port open in order for him to connect.
My IP address of my PC/Grading machine is 192.168.10.145
I followed Tom’s excellent tutorial and yet this fails to work..
When I run Zenmap I get the following and no sign of port 16410
If I’m being honest I really don’t know what I’m doing here and this perhaps is a classic example of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing..
That said I’m very keen to try and open said port so client can see my creative efforts!
Many thanks in advance.
Happy New Year.

Your NAT rules destination address should be WAN Adress and not LAN address

Many tks for this correction..
My rule now looks like this…
Sadly I still do not see port 16410 open on NMap
Apologies in advance if I am doing something spectacularly stupid here..

Looks like the port isn’t open on the host itself. This isn’t a firewall issue on pfsense but a firewall issue on the server itself.

So do I need to open this port on my PC…?
Apologies if I am being obtuse..
Yes, you have to make sure the firewall on your pc allows those ports too.
