Does anyone know where the scanner folder is located? I’m using Ubuntu server and PMS is installed using Snap.
What do you call “the scanner folder” ?
If you mean you media folder, then it’s where you set it up for a library
The Plex Media Server data directory located in:
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server
Im confused by your question as well generaly the media folder is set when you create the movie or the TV show library
The scanner is a program(executable) not a folder(directory). You’ll find it and other programs for the Plex Media Server in /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/ on a Linux install.
Don’t forget to do a ‘export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/plexmediaserver’ in the shell you are trying to use the CLI in or the scanner will balk at running at all.
Of course you can always Scan All or individual Libraries from the Web UI
