Pfsense High CPU Usage

I’m getting 90+% cpu usage and about 82-84% coming from the item listed below:

/usr/local/sbin/unbound-control -c /var/unbound/unbound.conf stats_noreset

Running 22.05.

Any way to cut this back?

what other packages do you have installed?

what version of pfsense?

What spec of machine are you running PFSense on,

pfsense + 22.05 on a Netgate 3100

Packages:

  • avahi
  • iperf
    -pfblockerNG-devel
    -service_watchdog
    -tinc
    -Wireguard

I believe there is a known issue of high CPU usage with 22.05 and pfblockerNG-devel. I can’t remember the details, but I vaguely recall something about an available patch. Check the pfblockerNG section on the Netgate forums.
