I have two Netgate 4200s that I am trying to get HA working on. I’ve watched and re-watched Tom’s 2019 guide and I can not get Sync to work. Starting from factory reset, I’ve done nothing on the two firewalls except set the WAN/LAN/SYNC IP information, Sync Firewall Rules and Configure HA Sync. I also created a Sync user, which is what I’m using to check Sync with on the secondary unit.
I’ve also tried setting the Filter Host ID and pfsync Sync Peer IP in the HA settings; with no luck.
Any suggestions?
Yes I’ve checked multiple times the password.
