Hi, something happened to my pfsense and now after reboot it needs configuring by keyboard to show establish interfaces. None of my backup configs prevents this so I see in my future factory reset and manually restoring all the configuration. What should I be careful about? Any tips how to make it less painful appreciated.
assign the interfaces and get to the point where you can log in to the web ui. At that point you should be able to restore your backup
I’m able to restore backups, but after reboot it asks me to assign interfaces again no matter which backup I restore
I would reload the system as it sound like something is corrupted. Also check to make sure you don’t have a failing drive.
