Pfsense Facebook streaming block

I need to block Facebook streaming but not any other service of Facebook using Pfsense. Is it feasible?

You would have to first determine if Facebook uses a separate server name or IP address for their streaming service and then block that. I am not sure that they do though.

@mazinga Here are some sites you may want to consult about FB blocking. Didn’t find a specific related to your question but have a deeper look. I just block FB (the Evil Empire) in total. Also look at ad block lists. Hope this gets you going in the right direction and don’t forget IPv6.

To block certain services like streaming in facebook but not all facebook you will have to do ssl inspection and have a firewall that has application control layer 7.
