Pfsense 2.4.4 install stuck at Link state re0 changed to

Hi everyone,

This problem may have been addressed already but I’m sure not able to find a fix for this

I’m trying to install on a Dell PC that I added a RealTek nic.
How do I solve this problem?

FreeBSD mostly doesn’t seem to like realtek, you’re better off with intel NIC’s. Perhaps try v2.4.5 but you’ll probably encounter the same issue.

Did you download the correct image?iinm there is 2 version of console (serial or vga) normally for installs that connect to monitor directly would be using vga instead of serial.
