Pfsence with unifi services

Hey guys, I’m trying to build a network of unifi devices for their cameras, phones, switches, and access points. I already have a pfsence router/firewall and prefer that over a udm device. I know I can manage cameras with the unifi NVR but do you all know what can I do to get device management for the other devices?

Use a hosted system - HostiFi - UniFi Cloud Hosting

Or setup your internal Unifi controller on Ubuntu/Debian - UniFi Installation Scripts | UniFi Easy Update Script | UniFi Let’s Encrypt | UniFi Easy Encrypt | Ubuntu 16.04/18.04/20.04/21.04/22.04/23.04 | Debian 9/10/11/12/13/14 | Ubiquiti Community

If phones you are referring to Unifi Talk, you need a Unifi Dream machine or similiar , as talk only runs on Unifi hardware

So if I self host for the networking gear, use the UNVR PRO for cameras, and use a cloud key gen 2 plus for the phones then that should work. Theoretically.
Right?

I do not think the cloud key gen 2 does phones, you need a dream machine

The cloudkey gen2 does Talk but i’s a mess trying to get it thru the pfsense firewall. I wish Tom would do a video about it but he probably never sees it in practice.
