I’m looking for a bit of guidance im looking at setting up ospf on my edge router and switch but not entirely sure on the process on the edge router side. I have multiple vlans/SVI’s setup on my layer 3 switch and currently a static route going to the router. Any tips on this would be great.
I’m running the edge router 4 going to the HP 2920.
please forgive my stupidness i understand i have to advertise all the networks on the HP switch however im unsure what to advertise on the router side i have an interface connected to the switch with a 10.0.69.1/24 on it and static routes pointing back to the switch.
am i correct in thinking on the edgerouter i will only need to advertise the 10/0/69.1 address
Got this working however I still need a static route pointing to my link to the router to get to the internet. Do I need the static route? What am I missing.
