I’ve recently set up openvpn on pfsense using lawrence’s guide, The issue i’ve noticed is that with an IOS phone, when i put the phone to sleep, the vpn disconnects so when it tries to reconnect when i power the phone on, the authentication fails due to it most likely trying to use the old TOTP code.
I then tried setting up a VPN using the openvpn access server appliance with 2fa and it doesnt present with this issue.
Can someone advise on how to resolve this issue?
