Being that it’s a commercial, not open source, product I would be hesitant to get too deep into it unless you plan on paying. Companies like building a base and then forcing people to pay by eliminating the free version.
Just looking to learn, anything beyond that is not important to me. It’s one of the products that are being discussed to replace VMware, but honestly, with the rates that my “buying group” have dug up, I can’t see anyone here moving to a different product.
I did find out that neither of my personal email addresses are allowed, so wrote a note back to the sales person that’s been bugging me and asked to do two things: #1 figure out how I can get my hands on this.
#2 build a program like the VMUG Advantage that lets people buy a limited license for a wider range of products, and use it in their limited lab.
Few people will have 10+ hosts with over 1000 processor cores in their labs. I recently learned that the VMUG license allows up to 16 physical CPUs with up to 32 cores each. That’s a pretty big lab! Even 16 cores is a decent amount for a small lab.
