No network adapter found when installing xcp-ng on asus zenbook duo pro with usb ethernet adapter

Hi all,

I’m new here so be gentle Lol.
I’ve used xcp-ng for a few years on dell and hp servers, but I’m building a home lab using low power machines and laptops.
I have an i9 asus zenbook duo pro that I’m wanting to use with xcp-ng but it has no physical ethernet port. I’ve tried multiple usb a/c adapters but during installation it never finds them, so the install has to stop.

Am I missing something obvious or does xcp-ng not support usb ethernet adapters?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

I doubt the kernel has driver support for any USB dongles. You’ll have to probably find drivers for centos or abandon that project.
