Thanks for showing the ISO use, that came up in their forums, and poof we have the ISO to load into an ISO SR.

Using ISO makes it easy so I don’t have to download or copy it to it for each VM.

That was the “argument” given, I’ve been putting the Xenserver tools into an ISO for a while. And “argument” in quotes because it didn’t really take much convincing. For all things, it’s just easier to “insert” the CD-rom with the latest versions. I assume once everything is signed, it will get merged into the standard tools ISO in each host.
