Netgate 3100’s still usable?

I know the 3100’s are end of sale, but are they still supported with pfsense? Anyone know?

If you are referring to get latest patches , pfsense versions - the answer is yes

I have one client left with a 3100 and it’s perfectly usable and continues to be supported with security and firmware updates. Not sure for how long, but it’s doing fine. On a personal / homelab levell, probably fine. I wouldn’t deploy one as a business production unit, though. Simply because I don’t know how long they’ll continue to update them.

Personally, I wouldnt use it. I had nothing but issues with mine. Netgate would not acknowledge there was an issue with pFsense and the 32bit cpu that was in it. It wouldnt even run the base-OS with no packages installed without crashing.

Thanks for your reply. I think I will figure something else out. Might run a community edition when my license is up.
