I have an MSI B550-a pro motherboard and I am attempting to get it to be able to run xcp-ng and attempted to change the SR-IOV support to enable to see if that helped because the install process keeps erroring. When I changed the setting to enable in the bios, it froze, and after I restarted the comptuer now it is powering up, but does not seem to be booting up. I cannot get back in to the bios, no display comes up etc. Any suggestions?
Did you make sure you enabled virtualization in the bios?
Yes. I was able to get proxmox to install, but was having with XC-png and thought I had seen something that said to enable SR-IOV support so attempted that. Any suggestions on that?
It seems that the BIOS on the board itself went FUBAR I talked with MSI support and they had me attempt cmos reset and flash the bios to no avail.
