Minio Defaults on TrueNas

Just wanted to share my recent experience with Minio (1.2.5) Install on Truenas Scale (24.10.0.2).

I followed the default install as in Tom’s video but didn’t realize that for some reason this install now pre-populates 468/468 for User:Group which is not (at least for me) my default Apps user.

The issue resulted in a failed startup of the container and resolved when the App user was changed.

Just leaving this here in case it’s helpful for someone in the future.

Does anyone else have experience with Minio on Truenas? Good or bad?

I use it for my Synology & XCP-ng off site backups. It seems to work fine with no issues.

Using it for Bacula off site backups and also no issues so far.
