Hello Tom and Everyone,

I am in the R&D phase of my MSP business journey. Currently in the corporate side and thinking of venturing out and starting a side gig. Listening to the YouTube talking business series - price is determined by locality and cost of living.

New Zealand example $125

My question: is this a good place to start:

Then look at my specific state then title:

  • Network and Computer Systems Administrators
    -Computer Network Support Specialist
    -Computer User Support Specialists

Thoughts about calling my local competitors?

Not trying to win the race to the bottom but maybe to get a real world idea?

If you have no place to start when it comes to market price, calling local competitors would certainly be an option.
