Managment IP as a virtual interface

Hello,

I plan on moving my xcp-ng server to a colo, I will be running a virtulised firewall for my VM’s as I cant afford an extra U of space for a router.

And yes, I already had a debate over sticking an xg1100 to the server.

My only issue is I dont know how I would go about setting up the xcp-ng server to get an IP from the virtual firewall… Any clues?

You have to statically assign the network settings for XCP-NG and make sure the firewall is set to auto boot.
