Lost internet connection after PFSense Certificate Renewal

Hi, hope you are all well. I lost internet connection after renewing the expired webConfigurator default certificate. I was able to get internet back after resetting the firewall an reloading from my backed up config settings.

I am not sure how to renew the certificate without loosing internet connection. Do I have to reissue the new certificate to all services still referencing the old certificate? The only service I see that is referencing the old certificate is under DNS resolver, Only packages installed are pfBlockerNg and Avahi. I have a very basic knowledge of pfSense : ) and in the learning process of this firewall. Any advice you can provide would be appreciate it. Have a good weekend. Thank you!

Reseting a certificate should not cause the internet to stop working unless you are using something such as SquidProyx and are using that same certificate.

Thanks for your reply Tom. I was able to successfully renew the webconfigurator certificate without an issue. Not sure why I lost internet connection the first time around. All good now. Thx!
