Kern.log getting bigger in xcp-ng

Hi, Everyone.

I have found out that my /var/log of xcp-ng is 100% utilied and kern.log is the culprit. When I open the log file it contains this error

Mar 9 17:04:21 home-hypervisor kernel: [249859.901581] sd 8:0:0:1: rejecting I/O to offline device
Mar 9 17:04:21 home-hypervisor kernel: [249859.901597] sd 8:0:0:1: rejecting I/O to offline device
Mar 9 17:04:21 home-hypervisor kernel: [249859.901602] sd 8:0:0:1: rejecting I/O to offline device
Mar 9 17:04:21 home-hypervisor kernel: [249859.901618] sd 8:0:0:1: rejecting I/O to offline device
Mar 9 17:04:21 home-hypervisor kernel: [249859.901623] sd 8:0:0:1: rejecting I/O to offline device
Mar 9 17:04:21 home-hypervisor kernel: [249859.901639] sd 8:0:0:1: rejecting I/O to offline device

I am not sure what could have cause this issue. The last entry in the log is Mar 9 as well so no updates since that date.

Is it safe to just delete kern.log? Would the system recreate the log or what is the best way to clear the content kern.log since it hasn’t been updated since March 9?

I always find it’s best to determine what is causing the error and remediate that issue.
