Yes, we have been deploying lots of them, they are very reliable.

Should I just move the shared files of the hyperv to the synology.
Or should I move the entire vhdx to the synology?

I assume moveing the actual Vhdx files to the nas would make them run a lot slower.

I suppose it’s reliable until it isn’t !

If the office also has backup and redundancy then it’s reliable !

Running vhdx file on synology will not be a good idea.

I use synology for shared files and to take backup of vm’s and physical PC using Active Backup for Business.

Also so use cloud sync or hyper backup for backing up critical data (mostly shared files) on cloud.

I had one that had a 300 day uptime without any problems that i know if, synology also has a great dashboards.
