HP Proliant firmware updates

I have a HPE Proliant DL385 g7. I recently had a hard drive fail due to SMART errors, and I got a new drive to replace it, and upon booting I get a message saying the new drive needs a firmware update. I can’t seem to find any instructions or any process for how to do this on an older server. Does anyone know how to do this?

Unless things have changed, HP places all firmware, drivers and patches for servers behind a paywall / support contract.

I just searched for that model on the HP Enterprise page and came up with the server, bios, firmware etc. I didn’t log into the account.

Yes, this is exactly why I don’t sell or use HP stuff anymore.
