I’m looking to migrate emails from Thunderbird over to Office 365 (Microsoft 365) mailboxes. Is there a native or recommended method for this migration from Thunderbird to Office 365? A few questions I’d appreciate your input.
Welcom to the community, but that is something I have never done before. I would assume you could setup an IMAP connection in Thunderbird and copy over them over.
Is it Thunderbird where all the email was downloaded over POP3 and only stored locally, or is the data still in some email server somewhere?
I saw this because I’ve done a few migrations to M365 business accounts. Microsoft have a migration process and toolkit that can help you out.
Export your folders into EML, then setup outlook desktop connected to your off365 account and import the EML file folders into outlook
