Hi everyone,
I’m looking for an easy way to transfer all my files from Google Drive to OneDrive, but I’m unsure of the best method. I want to ensure nothing is lost or damaged during the process because my data is very important to me.
Has anyone here handled this kind of migration before? Are there any trustworthy tools or approaches you would recommend? I’m particularly interested in something that preserves folders, the file hierarchy, and, ideally, shared files as well.
Google Takeout isn’t a good fit for this migration since I have a large amount of data in my Google Drive.
Thanks so much in advance!
I don’t have any better suggestion than Google Take out for moving data, maybe someone else will post here that does.

I do not have an answer for you on best way to migrate, but the manual download from Google and upload into OneDrive seems to be a safe way to go, if not time consuming. The only tip I would mention is that OneDrive has issues if you have file path names that are very long. I recently migrated a client from on prem server to SharePoint which uses OneDrive to sync, and it’s been a bit of a chore because they had deeply imbedded folder structure that created issues with your local windows computer and the 256 character limit.
There are paid services that do this for you like https://www.vaultme.com/
