Hello forum members,

I am new for Pfsense Firewall ,
and I am going to use a public IP address directly on a VM Server behind pfsense Firewall ,I don’t know how to setup it , if any one on this group have experience for this type of configuration on pfsense Firewall , your feedback and guidance highly appreciated .

Is your public IP coming from the same block of your existing WAN?

I honestly don’t really understand what you are trying to do, and to me this looks like a simple use case for port fowarding on the pfSense WAN interface.

He mentioned a different IP on a different WAN port. If his IP comes from the same block he can create an VIP alias and NAT that back to his server.
