we have implemented unifi controller version 7.5.187 in our network and the platform manages multiple location.The guest wifi has been configured and uses the radius server for authentication.However guest are experience slow authentication as the process takes about 1 to 2 minutes.The challenge is recurring and causing a lot of problem.
Below is our set up.

has anyone experience such challenge.
What Wi-Fi security protocol are you using?
We had a vendor setup an Aruba Clearpass NAC (local) and we’ve had a lot of issues where it takes forever to authenticate. We’ve noticed it occurring especially with WPA-3 enterprise. We’re using Aruba APs at this site (Ugh).
Hopefully someone will have more insight than I.
we’re using open security protocal for the unifi guest hotspot portal.
Its open for the guest , as the guest are always redirect to a sign in splash page where they enter their details inorder to access the network.The whole process is smooth from seeing the splash page on the guest device , filling in their details and paying for the wifi service.…but the challenges comes when they click the connect button inorder for them to be authenticated to access network, it takes too long.
This what happen when click connect.
-- Guest devices are redirected back to the server 1.x for 1-2 minutes then sucess pages show.then the can be able to browse over the internet.
what does it takes so long to authenticate .Any ideas these could help.
