I’ve purchased 3 x U7 Pro XG WAPs a little while back.
I’ve got a USW Pro HD 24 PoE which comes with 2 x 10GbE LAN/RJ45 ports and they run 2 of my WAPs perfectly.
The issue is, my 3rd AP is “only” connected via 2.5GbE LAN port. This AP is in the least used area of the house with light bandwidth.
How wise/unwise of an idea would it be to connect the 3rd WAP with and SFP+ to RJ45 adapter? I’m only using one of the SFP+ ports at the moment connecting it back to the UDM Pro Max, so I’ve 3 spare for now.
Looking for pros and cons really.
Most of my stuff is wired and I would hardly even saturate a single 2.5GbE connection between all the 3 WAPs together, not to mind one of them, so this is more a theoretical connection question assuming the bandwidth would be used.
