FreshsRSS not importing OPML file

I’m very sorry to clutter up the forum with my noob questions.

I can’t for the life of me import Tom’s OPML file or any OPML file for that matter. I’m using the Linuxserver.io compose in a Debian LCX on Promox. Linuxserver.io stuff allways works with UID=1000 and GID=1000. Made a new user inside the LXC that gets assigned that UID/GID. I get the message the file was successfully imported and that I need to refresh, but nothing is ever added. Before I try the official FreshRSS compose, can anybody help my try and troubleshoot this? The fact that I don’t understand what goes wrong bothers me just as much as that it doesn’t work :thinking:

Weird. I had to import as Dynamic OMPL and then it worked. I tried to copy the xml code into a file and import is, but that didn’t work.

Hey MoldyBooks, thanks for sharing your experience, actually really helpful. I’ve been running into the same issue and didn’t realize there was a difference between regular and dynamic OPML imports. Just gave the dynamic option a try, and it seems to be working better, though I still need to test more. Curious though, did you do anything specific to format the file before importing, or just used it as-is?
