I am in the process of rebuilding my network and I am using the latest Freenas 11.3 on a dedicated server connected to 2 other VMware 6.7 servers. I want to use DAC cable to connect the 2 servers directly to the freenas server and so I am trying to configure the bridge in freenas to allow this with no success. It seem easy to configure but after the doing the configurations in the gui interface and apply it the browser seem to disconnect and reconnects and the bridge goes away. Can someone tell me step by step how this is done in this ver or what are the possibility for this not to be working…I am familiar with using tunables in the older ver of freenas and tried doing this too but didn’t work either.
