Looking for feedback on this design. Its currently implemented in a lab setting but wondering if its good design.
XenO has 2x virtual NICs. One connected to the storage vlan and one connected to management.
Connecting to the storage VLAN is so when it does its backup/restore function it doesn’t have to go inter-vlan which although not presented there is a firewall providing that functionality.
XenO also has a leg in the Management vlan , the same vlan where the hypervisors are located. This is where XenMotion happens. I didn’t want to cross vlans for this which again, would be through the firewall.
Finally, I have a LAG to the Hypervisors which is to facilitate all other vlans that the VMs could be part of(there are quite a few vlans).
