Hi All
After a recent purchase of a hp proliant dl380p it came with two emulex fc cards. I was wondering is it posible and how to incorporate them into a esxi and freenas build or other combination, for a home test lab.
I no fcoe cards would be easier to setup but seems a shame to waste the cards if it possible.
Dear friend, I think if you have FC Cardsā¦you would need to go through a FC Switch. FC to FC cards are not like DAC (direct attach copper) in which you can make a direct link between machines. I believe you must go through a FC Switch.
Could someone in the community double check my statement pleaseā¦
