Edgerouter 12 PoE question

Does the regular Edgerouter 12 send PoE as a default or how that work?

I just want to make sure I don’t fry my electronics connecting on the wrong port.

Or you need to add something else not provided on the box for it to actually send PoE.

The Edgrouter does not do POE, it does POE pass through

I just wanted to make sure.

1st time I get a wired router alway have used all in one WiFi units.
