SSL3 and TLS1.0 uis now considered weak, and monitoring services and PEN testing services will report that back if you have a FreeNAS system.
I have spotted that my FreeNAS 11.3 host is advertising TLS1.0 on HTTPS(443) connections. I thought that would be trivial to disable, but it seems not to be trivial. I looked in the xisystems freenas online help, which came up short (of anything helpful).
There is a bug report to xisystems a year ago requesting a UI control to disable it, but I don’t see it being implemented and released.
So I guess its a freeBSD question. Has anyone turned off SSL3, TLS1.0 in FreeNAS or freeBSD this successfully?
