I’m looking to add a Dell PowerVault MD1200 to my FreeNAS on a Dell R710. The problem I’m having is all I can find for a connection is for the Dell Perc H800 which is a Raid card and not an HBA. I know the the H800 is using an LSI chip. Could an LSI HBA (like the SAS 9207-8e) be used to connect the MD1200 or does it have to be the Perc H800? Thank you.
