Homelabbing and have pfsense running on an old Dell R330. Everything is going great, except that the iDRAC firmware update for the network card always fails - I assume as its an Intel 710-DA2 that isn’t Dell branded(?). I read in a couple of articles that suggested I may be able to cross-flash the card firmware to Dell’s to resolve this, but wanted to see if anyone on the forum had experience (successful or otherwise) with this sort of approach and what the results had been?
