One of my clients (a CPA) called me this morning because they were not able to get into their accounting software they use. CCH Axcess. They thought they had an internet problem at first and that is why they called me. After explaining that they VOIP phone they called me from would not have worked if the internet was down, we quickly started looking at the software website and it was down. Tried calling support and no answer on the phones.
That was when I came across some buzz the CCH had been compromised with malware. I felt it was worth sharing for others since there is mention of emails going out with a malicious link in it from CCH.
