Hello team,
I’ve tried to install latest realtek PCIe 2.5 GbE family controller but i get this different error ( -5006 : 0x80030005 ). I’ve tried all googled suggestions .i.e. disable network sharing, CMD winsock, netsh etc… nothing changes it from media disconnected. I’m new to this so please advise if I’m missing relevant info to provide. I’ve disabled antivirus and it still gives the error code. I’ve previously added a protectli vault with pfsesne 2 weeks prior, not sure if an ids blockers could cause media disconnected or not, please help if you can. Thank you ! 
Sounds like hardware failure to me.

Have you installed the latest drivers from Realtek?

I get this error when I try -5006 : 0x80030005 )
I reset windows and was able to install realtek drivers but media disconnected is still there. More research to do but I got 1 thing accomplished
