Camera Server running on Windows

I have been battling issues regarding Windows servers running Axis Camera Station. Long story short these are Dell R750xs servers with a xeon gold 16c CPU, 32 GB 3200Mhz RAM then storage is a PERC H755 card with 12 x 16TB Seagate Exos drives in a raid 6. OS is windows server 2022 standard. Now these things were running great up until the storage got about half full. I remember on one of Tom’s live streams that Jason had mentioned something happens once you get half full. Trying to sift through video is awfully slow now so I ended up reducing the retention to use less than half the total 130+ TB storage pool. I am now fighting with Axis customer support because it’s not one of their servers so they wont even look into it. I guess I am just looking for possible guidance on how storage should be setup for this use case. raid type, raid settings, windows settings, etc… I did setup a truenas and connect an iSCI with 8x12TB in a raid z1 (60GB of ZFS Cache) and did not notice any difference. If somebody is an expert I would definitely pay for insight.
