Since upgrade to 2.4.4-RELEASE-p1, Avahi won start. Can’t find anything in the log files. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
Doesn’t start on boot. If I use the service start on dashboard, “gear” spins a bit then returns to an “arrow”.
Thoughts?
If you go to the settings, uncheck the boxes and disable it, then click save. Then re-enable it and it should start working. I think the update causes an error in the configuration and making changes to the config fixes it.

I’m guessing that uninstall/reinstall preserved the broken config file so that’s why it didn’t help.
