Apt-get stuck at 0 [Connecting to us.archive.ubuntu.com]

When I try to perform an update it hangs:

However, I’m able to ping both Google and Archive.org just fine:

Just FYI, for reference, I’ve installed Ubuntu in a Proxmox container. I just want to experiment with running my UniFi Controller in a virtualized environment as opposed to a physical device. What can I do to fix this?

Might be a temp outage, try again in a few hours.

Problem solved. Decided to open sources.list file using my favorite text editor:

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Located the text http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu and replaced it with a different mirror.
