Advice configuring network for Fantasy Grounds

I am looking to utilize a program called Fantasy Grounds.

Fantasy Grounds is a virtual tabletop application, which contains a set of tools to assist players of tabletop role-playing games playing either in person or remotely.

I can run it locally on the latest Pop OS 18.04 on Steam via Proton, but I need to configure the network to have others connect remotely; it requires to open port TCP 1802.

What are y’alls suggestions for configuring my network, or any other suggestions? Below is a rough description of my network:

AT&T fiber => AT&T gateway => ER-X => LAN

Based on your description, you have a could NAT setup which means you will have to open ports both on the AT&T and ER-X to get it working.
