I’m 74 YO, just retired from working in a NICU, and Neonatal Transport Team.

I’ve always been interested in networking since the 1970s, I worked for a company out of Detroit named, Burroughs.

I have a small home network, and thanks to Steve Gibson, who mentioned pfSense in one of his podcasts, as the way to go for a router. This lead me to YT and Tom’s channel. pfSense is running on a Dell workstation I traded a buddy of mine some hardware for. Still on the learning curve, which I fell off of during various parts of (what a better way to learn, at least for me).
