I’m a long retired systems guy who started his IT career in the late 60’s working on big iron (IBM/360), but graduated to Digital PDPs and later VAXen. From there it was on to Digital Ultrix and AIX systems. Eventually wound up like everybody else, working on Microsoft servers and desktops before retiring in 2005. Since then, just to keep my fingers on the industry, I have been running my own home network which I share out to a few of my trusted neighbors.
