Currently run ESXi but trying to migrate to xcp-ng. I run TrueNAS Core as a vm on ESXi and I pass through the HBA controller to TNC.
I’m attempting to set things up the same way with xcp-ng. I’d like to run TrueNAS Core as a VM, but I don’t see anywhere in Xen Orchestra to passthrough hardware. Is it done differently in xcp?
Here is an issue you may have… Since the VM is bound to the hardware, you are not going to be able to use the automated upgrade function. Otherwise it seems to work because I had some passed through until I decided the plan wasn’t what I needed.
