Hello, looking at updating WiFi in a very wet production environment.
Thinking of using a UAP-Mesh and a waterproof ceiling mount aerial.
Not sure how the aerial would effect performance though. Currently it’s only for fairly light use, a telnet session from a scanning gun, but traffic may increase in the future.
I’ve seen these aerials, would it matter only using 2 x of the wires?
The UAP-Mesh would be in the roof void in the dry.
There are potentially four layers of thin sheet metal and insulation between the roof void and the production area. So simply running AP’s in the roof void may not be enough.
