TrueNAS Scale Tailscale app: Route all app traffic through Mullvad exit node

Hi, I am on TrueNAS Scale 24.04.2.2.

I have the Tailscale app installed (unchecked userspace, checked host networking).

On my windows machines, I use the Tailscale Mullvad addon. I lets you use a Mullvad server as an exit node, basically acting as a privacy VPN. This works great!

I wonder if and how I could do the same on TrueNAS. I want to have all the traffic from all apps use a Mullvad exit node.

Why? I have several apps running which I want to hide behind a privacy VPN - all legal stuff of course

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I do not see the option in the app to do so when running on TrueNAS.

I have a video on how to selectively route devices over pfsense and that is how I selectively route traffic.

Thanks for the suggestion, Tom.

However, I am still on an ISP router, that has been decent for me. I does not support tailscale, though.
Maybe now has become the moment to switch to pfsense?

Still, if someone has a suggestion to make it work in TrueNAS itself, I would love to hear.
