Has anyone come across RSF-1 storage cluster software. I am looking into TrueNas HA options.
I have never heard of this before. When clients need an HA solution we use the IX Systems hardware that has support for HA.
I can definitely vouch for the ix systems hardware. I have 3 x 2u appliances one per site not a single issue in the last three years unfortunately though they are not dual controllers. I am just setting up XCP-NG HA and was looking into HA for the shared storage.
Thanks Jack, I will probably give it a try for my use case. I don’t have the budget for new NAS across sites, if it was mission critical I would prob lean towards new hardware and have that chat with the directors.
