Static ip assigning

hello am new to networking, but i have been watching your videos and i have a question about static ip from ISP. i have a static ip from my isp the gave me the public ip the gateway the subnet mask and a personal allocated ip. however i dnt no how to use the personal allocated ip address any help please?

I do believe your ISP has assigned you a WAN address that won’t change. If you want to dial home you can use the IP address instead of a DDNS service.

Normally when an ISP provides a static IP address they just give you that IP & subnet for your WAN along with a gateway to get out. Is the personal IP a public or private rfc1918 address?
