I can’t figure out why this would be a thing in a DynDNS client, yet for my IPv6 setup, it seems to be not even bothering trying to check the external IP checking service…

This is baffling to me, as the whole point of a DynDNS service is to check your IP yet its just pulling from “local system” ?? What am I missing here.
