[Is pfSense Community Edition REALLY Dead in 2025?] my 2 cents… netgate could afford to support CE but choose not too, quite happy to let the code base diverge over time i’ll keep my CE installs with additional management restrictions from the LAN side against any potential internal threats from the outdated packages (shame on you netgate), for now migrating away as needed, no new CE installs Ethically it was the CE that “made” netgate, (lots of analogies between vmware/bro…
